U4GM: What Is the Best Way to Kill Turbine in ARC Raiders

Turbine looks scary the first time it drifts into the sky, but it's one of the more manageable boss ARCs once you stop fighting it like a normal machine. It usually turns up later in a raid, often around the 13 to 16 minute mark, so don't waste the opening minutes camping one spot and praying. Get your kit sorted, bring enough ammo, and if you need to restock before trying again, some players choose to buy ARC Raiders Items so they can go in prepared. The main idea is simple: crack its rotating armour, then punish the soft parts underneath before it deletes your shields.

    Best Way to Fight Turbine

The cleanest method is to use high armour penetration and play from cover. Jupiter is the obvious pick because it hits hard at range and doesn't care much about distance. Bettina can also do real work here, which is funny because many players ignore it until this fight. Equalizer is another option if that's what you've got. Don't stand in the open. Seriously, don't. Turbine's lightning projectiles can splash around cover and punish sloppy peeks, so use a building with doors, walls, and room to move. Peek, shoot a few rounds, get back inside. It's not glamorous, but it works.

    Long-Range Cheese Strategy

If you want the safer route, fight it from far away with Jupiter. This works because Jupiter has excellent reach and can punch through armour layers better than most weapons. You'll want a wide sightline over the map, not some cramped street where Turbine can suddenly drift close and start spamming rockets. Rooftops near Hotel Panorama Azzurro, high ground north of Customs Houses, and open views around Azzurro Beach are all solid places to try. Pick the Turbine that's farthest from you. If it's too close, it'll notice you properly, and then the whole "safe cheese" plan falls apart fast.

    Close-Range Method Without Jupiter

No Jupiter? You can still kill it, but you'll need nerve and a bit of luck. Wait for Turbine to land near cover, then move in when it drops mines around itself. Those mines aren't usually the thing that kills you, but they do act like an alarm. Once you're inside the window, aim for the yellow cylinders under its body or plant Deadlines if you brought them. Bettina works well for cracking the weaker sections while it's grounded. The trick is to hit hard, back off, and reset aggro if needed. Don't hang around admiring the damage numbers.

    Attacks and Weak Spots

Turbine mainly threatens you with homing lightning rockets and ground mines. The rockets are the real danger. One bad hit can shred blue shields and take a big chunk of health, especially if you're already tagged by splash damage. Its weak points are the yellow canisters exposed when it lands and the upper section of its body, though reaching that top spot is awkward unless you're using movement tools. Breaking armour while it flies takes time, so focus fire and don't keep swapping targets. If you're solo, expect other Raiders to hear the fight and come looking.

    Loot Worth Taking

Turbine can drop Advanced ARC Powercell, ARC Alloy, ARC Flex Rubber, ARC Motion Core, Launcher Ammo, and the Turbine Compressor. The Compressor is the key piece, since you need it for Avian Alarm progress and for crafting the Powered Descender once you've found the blueprint. That gadget is handy because it lets you drop safely without eating fall damage. If you're farming this boss often, planning your supplies matters, and checking ARC Raiders Items buy options can be part of getting ready before another run, especially when ammo and backup gear keep disappearing between raids.
